I started my Monday morning backstage at the Carolina Herrera Show.  It was incredible.  To be there and see and feel the excitement and energy before her Spring 2010 hit the runway was a dream come true for me.  An absolute dream.  I was invited to watch Carolina Herrera and her daughter, Carolina, unveil their “fashion” Milk Mustache Ad to the world.  A stunningly gorgeous photo of the two of them with the iconic milk mustaches.  Priceless.  But it wasn't just seeing them unveil their ad that made me so excited, it was being back there and seeing it all – before anything hit the runway.

I'm a lover of all things fashion.  Watching the many pieces of the show come together, bit by bit, was one of the coolest things in the world.  I’ve been to shows before, but never seen them come together in the first 2 hours. Each model would walk in, go promptly to the designated hair/makeup chair and just become transformed.  It was magical to see these beauties become more beautiful.  And then, that wasn't it.  They each dazzled in their Carolina Herrera SPRING 2010 creation.  Classic beauty.  I feel that's the best way to describe each and every design.  Each design was a classic beauty.  All wrapped in camels, roses and caramels... such soothing and beautiful and luxurious colors.

Fashion Week has been a treat all around for me. I have loved being able to be here and see and capture every moment I possibly can.  Carolina Herrera is an icon.  Her designs exude and embody the grace and beauty of a woman.  And it was beyond exciting to be there in that moment.  SPRING 2010 cannot come too soon!
