Katja Presnal is an international lifestyle expert and the founder of Skimbaco® online media, which currently includes the SkimbacoLifestyle.com, SkimbacoHome.com and SkimbacoTravel.com blogs, and is also partially syndicated in Finnish for a major European media network. Katja is a Scandinavian mom living the American Dream. This former runway model and PR professional started an online business by accident in 2004, continued it with an online store in 2007 and became known for her innovative social-media marketing. Currently she is a community director for a social shopper marketing agency, Collective Bias, managing an online community of close to 700 social-media influencers and creating social-media strategy for the agency’s clients. Katja has worked with brands like Hanes and Walmart as a blogger, and created social-media strategy for clients like Colgate. She is a popular speaker at social-media conferences and at corporate boardrooms and summits. When not working, Katja can be found cooking large family dinners or skiing and traveling with her three children and her husband.
