I have been doing laundry for as long as I can remember. As the oldest of four children, my mother wasted no time putting me on laundry duty. But in all the years I spent folding and sorting, I did not discover fabric softener until adulthood. You see, my mother had an extreme sensitivity to fragrances. She never purchased fabric softener, so we just lived with the static.

One of the first things I did when I got my first apartment was purchase a box of fabric softener sheets for my dryer. I was hooked! There is nothing like the smell of freshly washed sheets when you jump into bed after a long day. Years and thousands of loads later, I still love using fabric softener. 

With a busy household and four kids of my own, I am now on constant laundry duty. It is a daily chore, and a thankless one too. So anything that makes my job a little easier in the laundry department is most welcome in my home.

I was very excited to try the new Bounce Dryer Bars, which promise to save time and freshen laundry automatically for up to four months. It was super easy to install in my dryer. Two months later, it is still going strong! I love the subtle scent, and my static-free loads.

But most of all, I love the convenience. Saving money is a passion of mine. But saving time is just as important so I can focus on my family. One less step in the laundry process is a huge plus. No sheets to worry about, no liquids to measure and pour. Just rotate and go!

I look forward to teaching my own daughter to do laundry. And when she does, she will certainly get to experience the joy of fabric softener. Only she won't have to do a thing. Because Bounce Dryer Bars are "sticking around" my home hopefully for years to come!
