The days of snow and hot chocolate sound so relaxing and “It’s a Wonderful Life” on paper, don’t they?
But as the hectic holiday season draws near, my Charlie Brown Christmas theme song screeches to a halt, and the reality of prepping for the celebrations looms large.
That’s when I do what I always do in a pinch: I call my girls.

That is the question.
A question I ask myself every day. Do I try to maintain my sanity and hire a housekeeper to clean my toilets and mop my floors every week? Or, do I talk one of the trusted college students at our church in to helping me with my kiddos, a few hours each week, so I can focus on my writing?
