I have noticed a trend of families moving more this year than the few years before. The "going to see a new house" Facebook status updates and "first day in our new home" on Twitter have passed my eyes more than a handful of times. Is the moving boom just my imagination, or is there a shift in the real estate market? Is now a good time to buy a home? I wanted to find out and interviewed some professionals in the industry.

Let’s continue our “décorless” home posts this week! This may not have much to do with the "Army Wives" TV show, but it sure does have a lot to do with people who move often, and frankly, anyone who is looking into moving in the next year or so!
Last week I touched on two things you should think about when making a decision to either buy or rent your home: location and cost of living. I believe that there is a time and place when you should buy and when you should rent, neither one is the one right answer.

Some of the Army Wives have been struggling with the military post’s housing office in the Lifetime TV show this season. Sounds pretty ideal to have a “housing office” in the first place, huh? The reality is that military housing might not be what you want or need, and sometimes you need to live in temporary housing for months before you get your new place. And many military families are asking themselves, do we rent or to buy when moving to a new town – and so might you!
