The lights have dimmed on the runways, and the Tents at Bryant Park have officially seen their last hurrah.  However, our work as fashionistas is only beginning.  Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is a great introduction to the items, textures, looks and clothing that we will see in stores in the coming months, but summing up an entire week of fashion-forward fabulousness takes a bit more time and work.  So, with that, let me take a bit of a different take on the trends we saw for Fall 2010 and focus on something besides the clothing.

As of December 21st, winter has officially begun.  I know some of you are scratching your heads and glaring at your screens, wondering why you've been freezing your bums off for a few months now if winter has just begun, but hey - take that up with the sun.  I also know that the official start of winter can only mean one thing.

It's time to think about your spring wardrobe.

C'mon, humor me here!  It's snowing outside - what else have you got to do but dream about sleeveless shirts and sunshine?
